This is my wading pool garden I am trying this year. Last night when I was watering, I found 2 tomatoes on one of the plants! They are about the size of a grape tomato so far.
What a neat idea. This would be great for my mom in law since she wants to plant a garden but she lives in a duplex and they won't let her plant in the ground!! By the way, I see you are from Fayetteville. I too live in NWA! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it up here. (A little hot lately thought, huh?)

ReplyDeleteI have considered using the pools like that as well. I think it looks so fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a concept. Love it. I have tried container gardens and have had success. This is even better. Keep us posted on your progress.

Now the question is, have you eaten at Pitty Pat's Porch in Atlanta? The restaurant has been there since the 60s and the food is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of the pools, I have one in my backyard waiting for when I can find the time to do this project.
Cute! Cute! Thanks for sharing the idea! Nohing grows in my dirt so I have to find contatiners and I never thought of this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to grow vegetables or fruit. Thanks so much for sharing it and your photos with us.
