Postcard Friday

This is the Park Hotel in Hot Springs, AR. It is still in operation and we are staying there in a couple of weeks when we go to the races. It is next door to the Arlington Hotel and I am looking forward to staying there!

Hopefully I won't forget the camera and get some pictures.  It still has an elevator you can ride that uses an operator.

  1. Wow--that looks like an interesting place to stay! I added your link to McLinky--there was something wrong with the one I put in earlier.

Thank you for taking part in PFF!

  2. I hope you will post whatever pictures you take, so we can see how it has changed. It's great to know it's still there and still open.

  3. I stayed there in 1996. I don't like new hotels, so I loved it. I think I have a different old postcard of it. I have a bunch of old bath house cards too.

  5. Oh you will have to take photo's and post them of the elevator operator, and the new version of the hotel if there is one. On of our VERY large Department stores use to have elevator operators that wore white gloves and uniforms and everything. Fun. happy PFF

  6. How amazing that it is still in operation! So many of these grand old hotels have fallen by the wayside.

  7. I love the older hotels, too. Much more interesting, even if they are a little shabbier sometimes. Have a wonderful trip!
