Outdoor Wednesday

It's just too darn cold outside right now. The sun is out, but its coooold!

So here are some interesting pictures I took a couple of years back when it snowed after the cherry trees outside my office had bloomed.

Cherry Blossoms in the Snow!

Enjoy more at:

  1. Pretty cherry blossoms. Great shots!

  2. Did the cherry blossoms survive? Hope so! They are always so beautiful.

  3. There is just something wrong about beautiful cherry blossoms covered in snow :) Can you tell I am sick of snow? I never thought of it until I read the comment from Ann Creek - did they survive the cold and snow?

  4. Very pretty! I love cherry blossoms.

  5. Hi, I just had to drop by as when I see a southern blog I am curious as I am a true Southern girl from Bama. I love that saying on growing up Southern, did you write that? Cute Blog!! just wanted to say "Hi"!

  6. Hi all,Sandy, no I didnt write that, I don't even remember who did or where it came from, I have had it a long time.
And yes, the cherry blossoms survived, that was a wet, late snow that didnt come with a lot of freezing cold temps! Thats the kind I like...they are ornamental cherries and came though it beautifully! When they bloom, and there is a blue sky, you can see the South Tower of Old Main through them, its a beautiful picture. I hope I can get that one this year to post!

  7. Very pretty:)

I wanted to let you know I have 2 more issues of Flea Market Style that I am giving away on my blog:
